These Terms of Service are provided by Phelipe Santos Beserra, based in Valencia, Spain, operating the Typical platform. Contact: support@typical.so.
Typical provides AI drafting assistance: message drafting inside its own iOS keyboard, a client record you build yourself, follow-up reminders, and email sending through Gmail if you choose to connect it.
Users must review, edit, and validate all AI-generated outputs before sharing externally.
Multi-step sequences and automated workflows are not enabled in the build you can install. Nothing is sent on a schedule without you. See Not in Production below.
Typical does not process payments. No card details are collected and nothing is charged to you.
The app contains a membership screen. In the current build it does not take payment and does not create a paid subscription — any membership state it shows is a placeholder for a plan that is not being sold. If paid plans are introduced, billing terms (price, renewal, refunds) will be added to these Terms, with prior notice in-app and a new "Last Updated" date above, before any charge is ever made.
These capabilities exist in the codebase but are switched off in the build you can install. They do not run, and they do not process your data. As of the "Last Updated" date above:

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity on your account. Typical is intended for users 18 years or older.
You agree not to use Typical to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam), to impersonate others, to send unlawful or harassing content, or to violate any applicable law including but not limited to the CAN-SPAM Act, the EU GDPR, the Spanish Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y de Comercio Electrónico (LSSI-CE, Law 34/2002), and equivalent local regulations governing commercial communications.
AI CONTENT DISCLAIMER (LIABILITY): Typical is purely an assistant tool that generates text drafts. Artificial Intelligence can and will hallucinate or produce inaccurate data. Phelipe Santos Beserra and Typical are strictly NOT responsible for any messages, claims, or data sent to clients. The user assumes 100% legal and commercial responsibility for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before sending it.
This disclaimer applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including Spanish consumer protection law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007) and the GDPR. Nothing in this clause limits liability for damages that cannot be excluded by law.
Typical integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail), Apple (Sign in with Apple), Firebase (Google Cloud), and OpenAI. Your use of those services through Typical is also governed by their respective terms and policies.
Typical does not integrate with WhatsApp, iMessage, Signal, Telegram, SMS, or any service that would let Typical read the conversations you have with your clients. The product architecture does not include a server-side chat inbox or a WhatsApp Business proxy.
Your rights as a data subject under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with the AEPD) are enumerated in full in the Privacy Policy under "Data Subject Rights (GDPR)".
You may terminate your Typical account at any time from Account Settings. Typical may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Valencia, Spain. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from use of Typical is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Valencia, Spain.
Nothing in these Terms removes any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence within the EU/EEA.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where required, by notifying users in-app.
